School is almost out, which has me thinking about how to keep my kids occupied and learning throughout the summer. But then I thought maybe you want to learn also, so between 1 and 4:00 today you can try to spell one of my 3rd grade daughters spelling words. Spell it correctly, win a fabulous prize (probably a drink). Spell it incorrectly, no shame, though my 9 year old didn't miss one, so maybe a little shame. Also, Meatball Sandwiches today!

It's Friday! Are your kids done or almost done with school? Did it just occur to you that, that means you will have to start closing the bathroom door again and no more casual swearing when you stub your toe, now it's "Oh, fiddlesticks!", at least for 3 more months? Well, what are you waiting for? Come waste the day away in here, thinking about how great September will be. Oh, and daydreaming goes great with a beer, maybe an Anderson Valley Summer Solstice.

Chicken Salad Sandwiches today! Yes, we were supposed to have them last week. But as we've already established, I'm an idiot. So just move on and have one already. It would go great with a Bell's Oberon, which obviously we have also. Also, we're looking for a part time server, so throw your hat in the ring already. Don't wear hats? Long weekend is over. Back to the regular grind. Yep, it sucks. Good news is we're open and ready to make your work week maybe not quite so sucky (suckie, suckey, not sure on that one, auto correct says the first one). Anyway, reasons to come in today besides the food, booze and company; we will be supporting the NB football team by donating 10% of your bill, also we're looking for a part-time server, so come fill out an application or apply on Indeed. Don't forget to come in this Tuesday to help the NB Lions football team. All that you need to do is come in and buy food and/or drink, we donate 10 percent of what you spend for you. It's that simple. Any questions, my kids will explain it to you. Or we're thinking of bringing in a rocket scientist for the day.

Come on in today for some Country Fried Steak, perfect on a cool rainy day. I know I told some of you we would have chicken salad sandwiches today, but we don't. Sorry, I'm just not very good at knowing what's going on. What I do know though is we have a ridiculously good lineup of new brews right now, so don't delay!

Are your kids involved in some kind of activity? Are your Saturdays consumed by their activity? And by the time they're done, you're tired, everyone is cranky and hungry and they want fed. Well you could take the easy way and hit a fast food drive thru, but since you're an adult maybe you deserve an adult beverage so you can relax and feel like you again, and not some crazy cat herder.
