Hey, neighbor!!! Of all the wildlife I see out here, seeing a bobcat feels the most special. And, I may be wrong here, but I think that’s a kitten? Do they call them kittens? Looked quite small. ❤️❤️

My mama ( ) painted this for us and it really strikes deep. It feels like it’s a part of myself. Like I’ve always had it and I’m so proud to have it in our home. This is a watercolor of Vaughn Benjamin aka Akae Beka aka the voice of legendary reggae band Midnite. Prolific and otherworldly and definitely gone too early. Thanks mama for this beautiful painting. ❤️

The sun is setting on Soul Brewed Coffee Roasters.

Soul Brewed fam! I used to think that the bravest thing Laina and I have done is starting Soul Brewed. I can tell you now, that isn’t the case. The bravest thing we have done is ending Soul Brewed. Timing is everything. When we started in 2016 the time was right and right now we feel the time is right to shut it down.

Soul Brewed has been such a source of pride and joy for us. The relationships we have built and the work we have done is something we can be SO proud of. From opening the first craft coffee shop in Eau Claire to being a staple at the Eau Claire Downtown Farmers Market since 2016. We are going to always cherish all the friends and memories we have made.

Making this decision feels like forward progress. Heartbreaking, yes, but progress nonetheless. Choosing to move on from Soul Brewed while it's still healthy and while we still have a good relationship with it is very important to us. We want to make sure that this whole experience remains nothing but positive memories!

Soul Brewed has been a gift to us and has taught us many things about ourselves and our relationship with the people around us. Soul Brewed has taught us selflessness and hard work. Soul Brewed has taught us to take pride in our work and to find the joy in work. For Laina and I - two people who aren't the quickest to involve ourselves in a community or are extremely outgoing - Soul Brewed has been such a huge tool in helping us bridge that gap and propel us forward into meaningful relationships with the people around us. For that, we will always be so thankful.

We really just want to thank you all so much for helping us along the last few years. Soul Brewed will always be near and dear to us and I'm sure it will be to a lot of you as well. We will miss it so much!

We will still be making a few more deliveries, so if you see bags and bottles on the shelves in the next few days, that's probably going to be the last you see them. That being said, PLEASE don't buy all of it. Save some for other folks!
