The OES Building offers great food at a great price. Not only do we offer comfort food you have a place to sit and rest your feet. You can stop by at anytime and enjoy the company of the all the Volunteers while checking out the menu. We are an organization that is associated to The Shriners and Masons. They are responsible for helping many charities and organizations. This is another way to raise

money for the OES! Order of the Eastern Star History:

The Order of the Eastern Star was founded by Dr. Rob Morris in 1850. Dr. Morris created the degrees of the Eastern Star around the lives of five Biblical women. They are Jephthah's Daughter, whom he chose to call Adah; Ruth, Esther, Martha, and, from the Second Epistle of John, the Elect Lady, to whom he gave the name Electa. He chose these women because each of them exemplifies virtues that are the tenets of the Order: Fidelity, Love, Constancy, Loyalty, and Faith. Even though our ritual is based on heroines from the Bible, the Order of the Eastern Star is clearly not a religion. It does not pretend to take the place of a religion or to serve as a substitute. We welcome petitioners from all faiths.

Good day to be at the Fair, Guests Love the Bluebery Pancakes. OES Members from other Chapters visited us today and had Lunch..Turkey Dinner & Pot Roast. Attendance - 179,787.

Today We Had a Wedding Reception at the Dinner. 55 Guests at 10 AM. Reserved Tables, Corn Dog Arch, Wedding Cake. and Fred did his Best Materdee Impression.

Day 8 Senior Citizens day We were busy all morning for breakfast, our most popular Is the Blueberry Pancakes & The Scrambled Eggs and Sausage. We had the bride and groom who got married at the Dining Hall in 2016 stop for lunchtime. Also guests Worthy Grand Matron's & Freds friends from Orono high school class 1966. Volunteers Were Busy all afternoon because it was Senior Day. The Pulled Pork Sandwich is our most popular lunchtime menu item. The smoker in the backyard is working overtime.
