A deeply personal share ❤️🩹
To everyone following our pregnancy with our second baby (a 🩵BOY🩵) — we’re leaning on your prayers now more than ever.
After a series of tests, we’ve confirmed a Trisomy 13 diagnosis 💔 We’re told it’s rare and random, and not compatible with life. We’re heartbroken, but holding onto faith that there’s meaning in this that will one day be revealed.
Most T-13 babies don’t survive to full term, and if born alive, fewer than 5% make it through their first year. There’s a lot of uncertainty ahead. But we’re praying for a healing miracle — they happen every day!
We believe this little soul was sent to us for a reason. We’re asking for continued prayers for a healthy baby, but we trust God — and if that’s not the plan, we ask for the most merciful outcome for our son and our family. Our motto: if he’s still moving, we’re still hoping 🙏🏻
