Directions from Asheville: Take I-240 E to exit 9 (US-74 ALT E). Continue on US-74 for 5.8 miles. Turn left onto Old US Hwy 74 (before Angelo's restaurant). Park in the gravel parking ribbon in front of the tap house. Please do not park in the Angelo's or Hilltop Ice Cream parking areas. Overflow parking is available at 1288 Charlotte Hwy (accessed from Charlotte Hwy).

A prayer for today from our church The Church of the Transfiguration Bat Cave as we mark the second anniversary of the storm that brought so much horror and loss into our world. So thankful for this community and how they helped so many after the storm and continue to help the gorge rebuild. Helene brought so much horror and loss into our world two years ago. I often get comments on our recovery posts about how thankful folks are for our messages of resilience, and I can say without a doubt I wouldn’t have had an ounce of the resilience I have without them. Our church family was such a light in our darkest days. I’d have never been able to make it through those early days weeks and months without them. That still just as true today as we start to take on the longer phases of rebuilding. Thankful for them today and every day as we keep learning what it means to be . ❤️🙏⛰️

Looking forward to seeing all of y’all as these leaves start changing in October! Just don’t forget to come see us the next few months after the leaves fall off the trees. Our winter b**rs are mighty fine and perfect to snuggle up with on a chilly day. Plus our train cars and fully enclosed, heated deck stay warm and cozy all winter long- so long as we’re not snowed in of course! 😂🍁☃️🍻

“That looks like a Tom job.” If you hear me say those words, it means I know I’m out of by depth. With a place that has as many moving parts as our taproom, that tends to happen a lot. 😂 Thankfully Tom inherited Frank’s engineering brain and can fix just about anything. Which is why I’d usually rather wait for him than attempt to fix it myself. Love you, babe. 😘👨‍🔧🫶
