To our 808 family, fans, and friends: we must inform you that our Fairview Park 808 will not reopen in 2026.
Fairview was our first location. It opened June 3, 2017 on a hope and dream. And after nine full seasons, we can confidently say that our dream has been fulfilled. We’ve met a lot of people. Made a lot of memories. Even survived the Covid pandemic.
There’s no single reason for the closure. Like nearly all small businesses, we face challenges that force us to make difficult decisions. Unfortunately, this is one of those decisions that needed to be made in order to best position 808 for success in the future. And we have plans!
Couple things to note:
1.) Our Avon and Strongsville locations will be unaffected by this news. Please come visit us for the same great items you’ve come to know and love in Fairview!
2.) We’re open to partnerships in Fairview Park or Rocky River with area businesses that could allow 808 to operate seasonally from shared space or our mobile units. If you know of the perfect partnership, please reach out to us! We are not looking for a dedicated storefront due to seasonality, but would be open to opening a satellite 808 inside of another business (kinda like Starbucks inside of Target).
3.) We are working on bringing a new 808 location to Northeast Ohio next summer. Negotiations are currently taking place and we hope to have some good news to report in the coming weeks / months.
