Yesterday (Sunday) was one of those days. One of those days where one amazing experience after another happens.

I can't begin to thank everyone enough for their patience this weekend. The line was out the door and down the street most of the day. We were ravaged and our case was quite depleated. Every person that I said "thanks so much for your patience" replied with something like "it's worth it". I can't begin to tell you what that means to us.

I saw so many beautiful people who shared a smile and a laugh with us.

I met a wonderful young man who has been playing guitar for only 1 year and he played amazingly. I saw one of the guys that used to play drums for me like 20 years ago and his lovely wife.

I got to sit down with Gina from the old Barberos restaurant family and talk nostalgia and how much their business shaped our hospitality. (Which moves me in a way I can't begin to express. Our town needs to be reminded about the greatness of Barberos).

I got to see some friends that moved away and they brought their family down to meet us (including their beautiful new puppy pictured here).

I saw one of my oldest customers come in with his daughter (Daisy) who's ninth birthday is very soon. I remember her dad coming in and telling us his wife was pregnant and Katie giving them drinks to celebrate .. I remember Jen coming in after she had Daisy for her first caffeine break.. and here I am looking at this beautiful 8 (going on 9) year old with the charisma and sophistication of a teenager but the beautiful free spirit of a child.

My friend Joe stopped by, my friend Cassie didn't say goodbye to me before she left (so she'll never live that down lol). Too many people to name... My staff, my wife .. my world... In those orange walls.

This is what 10 years has brought us. Magic... Electric ..

So, so many of you
At the end of the shift my wife and I were in that shop for 14ish hours and when I left I thought to myself "I truly hope I made everyone feel welcome and let them know how special they are to us".

To quote the great Diamond David Lee Roth (philophisor and poet)

"This must be just like living in paradise"

So this isn't a coffee post today, this isn't a post showing some stupid bagel or guac toast.

This is just me letting you know how you shape this community. How much it brightens our say to see you guys and interact with you.

Special shout-out to our staff. Working in 90+ degree weather no matter how much AC is cranked those ovens, that steam wand, working over a stovetop to make eggs and going in and out of the pizza oven... The heat can really catch up with you.

We’re kicking off the holiday weekend with our #1 most requested pizza — The Meatball Thing is back!

This fan favorite is loaded with juicy meatballs, whipped ricotta, hot honey, and roasted garlic on our classic crust. Sweet, spicy, creamy, and savory… it really does have it all. No wonder it’s everyone’s top pick.

A friendly heads up on our hours:
We’ll be closing early tonight at 6 PM so our team can enjoy the holiday.
Tomorrow (Sunday) we’ll be back to normal hours, open until 8 PM.

Today we want to wish you and your families a wonderful and safe holiday filled with good food and lots of celebration.

We will be closing a little early today at 6 PM so our staff can be independent.

We’ve got two very popular muffins in the case this morning:

ChocoKong — our banana bread muffin loaded with chocolate chunks. This one is absolutely amazing and very rare to see during the week, so consider yourself lucky!

Morning Glory Muffins — a spiced muffin made with carrots, coconut, raisins, and cinnamon. Think carrot cake in muffin form!

These two are always customer favorites.
