The Walton Club

The Walton Club Hours of Operation:
Mon - Tues: 2 p.m. to CLOSE
Wed - Fri: 10:00 a.m. to CLOSE
Sat - Sun: 9 a.m. to CLOSE We welcome you to become a member.

Founded in 1929, the Walton Club is a 9-hole course located in Fairfield, Iowa. Situated on 120 acres, the club provides visitors with a beautiful view of Walton Lake, and a course surrounded by trees and rolling hills of cornfields. Overlooking the lake, the clubhouse offers patio and indoor seating to enjoy food and drinks, along with an event hall available to rent for parties and celebrations.

​Golf and social memberships are available to families and individuals.

Our fabulous cook has decided she needs a little time off so our kitchen will be closed tomorrow Sat, July 4th and reopening Wed, July 8th. We will be offering a special on hot dogs if you still want to come have a drink, golf or just enjoy the lake! Happy 4th!!

Course Care Reminder ⛳

Please help us keep the course in great condition by repairing ball marks on the greens and using the sand/grass seed buckets to fill divots on tee boxes and fairways.

The photos show recent damage found on our greens, including pieces of turf that were removed. Damage like this affects playability and takes time and expense to repair.

We appreciate everyone’s help in caring for the course! 💚⛳
