Here is the first introductory blurb about doing a podcast. Is it perfect? No. But no matter how many takes I would have recorded, it would not be perfect.

I see some things I need to work on, but that is what it is all about when you try something new. It was fun and I did it!

Thanks to everyone that purchased tickets. $50 was raised for the Feeding the Kids of Wayne County. Big Boy will match that and send $100 to the program.

Thank you to all who stopped by for food at the Fall Fun Fest.

We didn’t open the windows on the corn dog trailer because it was too hot to have three people work in there, so we just sold all the items in the tent! It worked great. Top items were the ribeyes, pork chops, and corn dogs.

We worked as fast as we could, and apologize for the long waiting times. By Saturday night, our brains were mush and our bodies were tired.

Thanks to the Fall Fun Fest committee for working all year to provide 4 days of activities. I know the carnival did not go as contracted, but you hustled to get something else for the kids to enjoy. We really do appreciate all you do!!

Also thanks to all the family, great friends and new workers for stepping in to help. ❤️❤️ we appreciate you too!!!!!

Well I started this post early in the afternoon, then I left my phone at home when I left to go to the fall fun fest.  I’m just now getting home, but I wanna make sure you know what we’re having for lunch on Friday.

It is fried fish day and fried breaded shrimp day with a side of coleslaw. It will be ready by 11 am.

We’ll have all the items in the tent and in the corndog trailer ready to go tomorrow evening.

Lunch on Thursday on SE 2nd St. starting at 10:45. We are typically gone be 1 pm so get there early if you want any lunch on this day.

Big Boy Catering’s corn dog trailer featuring Jan and Dean‘s corn dogs has a new location for the Fall Fun Fest.

It will be located on SE. 2nd St. by the Big Boy tent. It will be on the south end of the street, north of the alley, so it should be easy to find if you just want to park at the bank parking lot and walk over.

Thursday we will have a very limited menu because of family commitments. But corn dogs will be available and will be under the tent just for Thursday night. Friday and Saturday, we will be in full swing in the corn dog trailer.
