I had the pleasure of catering the Move With Purpose Pure Barre and Women’s Wellness Garden Party on Sunday. It was a fundraiser for the Endocare Fund which helps fund access to expert endometriosis excision surgery for women who need it most.

It was a beautiful morning/afternoon filled with beautiful people for a beautiful cause. Thank you so much to for the event and asking me to be a part of it.

Of course all the food was gluten, dairy, sugar, soy and seed oil free. But for this event we also kept it nut free and onion free.

Change can feel bittersweet, but this one feels right.

When I opened the market, I wanted to create a place where people could find nourishing, thoughtfully prepared food. Along the way, I learned something important about myself.

The heart of Kitchen Melissa has never been keeping shelves full. It’s creating meals, building relationships, teaching, and bringing people together around good food.

Closing the market gives me the opportunity to focus on those things even more.

To everyone who has supported me—whether you’ve ordered meals, attended a workshop, stopped into the market, or simply cheered me on—thank you. You’ve helped shape Kitchen Melissa into what it is today.

This chapter may be closing, but I’m more excited than ever about the one that’s beginning. 🤍

If you order weekly meal prep, don’t worry—that isn’t changing. You’ll still find a new menu every Wednesday, with ordering open through Saturday for Tuesday pickup and delivery. In fact, this change allows me to devote even more of my time and energy to creating the meals, workshops, and experiences I love most.
