Soup Phantom LLC is the company founded by Anthony Barbara, a CIA graduate who has been a chef for over 30 years. His love of making soups was inspired early in his career while working at a 4 Star hotel in Fort Worth, Texas. That is where he came up with his original Asian Style Beef and Broccoli Soup and it was featured there for the rest of his tenure. Since then, Chef Anthony has gone on to wo
rk in numerous restaurants and companies. His impact has garnered him a large following on various social media platforms and he has met a lot of influential people. One of his fondest memories is getting to meet the late, great Julia Child, who was an inspiration to many great chefs. Chef Anthony has had much success in creating new and unusual flavor combinations and gourmet upscale versions of classic favorites. The key has always been to use fresh, quality ingredients to make a better end product. However, in 2020 the world changed, and Chef Anthony had to figure out, like the rest of us, how to move forward in this new environment. He had a dream of owning a food truck for some time, and this was the perfect opportunity to make that dream a reality. His original custom design of the soup truck is unique in the market, and is specifically designed to bring hot, fresh soups and one-pot-meals to different areas. Soup Phantom honors the memory of his sister Cheryl, who lost her hard fought battle with breast cancer in 2016, with the emblazoned on the truck. He also has included on his menu the "Mimi Salad", which is the recipe of his loving partner Julie's mother who also was taken too soon by cancer, as a way to honor her memory. Soup Phantom is delighted to be able to bring these recipes to you! The menu will change periodically according to season, ingredient availability and basically just to try new things. He hopes you enjoy! Have fun! Eat well! Food so good, it's scary!
