I was in the middle of posting my signature dish for the Springfield Rotary Gourmet Food Truck Competition earlier today HOWEVER that never happened because it was non-stop for us. I mean, we were sold out of the signature dish, Jerk Chicken Bowl, by 3:30 today 🤯
We did not place today. I knew it would be hard to follow up behind the Bang Bang Broccoli Bowl, but it would harder to beat the fierce competitors today, including some Springfield legends!
But...I STILL WON! I got to see sooooooo many of my Springfield regulars, I can ALWAYS guarantee them coming out and supporting us! And I met a bunch of new faces, who complimented us for the food!! I saw my buddy Tony Carson II aka Pizza guy and I finally got to meet the legend herself AJ Conley!
Anyone that knows me knows I'm a Dunkin's girlie but Coffee Expressions Springfield Ohio took care of me not once but three times! I had a sugar free blueberry muffin coldbrew then a sugar free blueberry matcha with the strawberry coldfoam both were amazing!! The littles got hot chocolates. I cannot wait to get into this Cookie butter cinnamon roll to end my night. I got an Acai Bowl and it was so good the littles got one too! *didn't get a pic because I ate it so fast, same with the coffee 😂*
We left with a empty bus. Almost completely wiped out. Springfield will always be second home for us, thank you guys for coming out even in the rain and supporting all of the food trucks in today's competition!
Congratulations Christy Williams the Sweet Treat Queen and legend on winning first place for her Fried Banana pudding!! You rocked my lady!
