Taco friends and fam.

We’re sorry to tell you we have to close tomorrow, Saturday. Apparently someone asked Brady to drum for them a while back, not realizing that the gig was during the time we were open, and Brady being the guy he is said yes thinking it was an evening gig, not knowing it was at NOON.

SO - now I’m out my only employee for a busy Saturday, and we’re closed. 😔

For all you bands out there that need extra musicians to fill in, please consider the businesses that they work for, especially if that musician is the only employee at that business. All gigs outside of regular work hours, please!

We’ll see y’all back Tuesday and Wednesday next week, fam and friends.

Hope your holiday weekend was fabulous!

We’re back! One more break is coming up soon. We’ll be gone July 16th-23rd. Brady has an important wedding to go to. It’ll be a good family visit he hasn’t had in years.

The 4th of July is coming this weekend, and we’ve decided to take Saturday off!

Steve Brown and the Bailers are playing a festival in Black Rapids and a band canceled so they’ve been asked to do another day. So Brady will be out of town Saturday.

But we’ll be here til Friday!

We’ll have some Jamaican Me Crazy tacos for a couple days. Spicy, smoky jerk chicken topped with a Jamaican slaw.

Happy Solstice!!!!

It’s been a great week here at the little taco shack, and we’d love to tell y’all THANK YOU from the bottom of our hearts. Thanks for being patient with us this summer.

Whew. It’s hot in the kitchen on these summer days hitting 98 degrees in here.

But we’ve got our great deck with a nice breeze so don’t be scared to come out and say HI!

We pulled out our Jamaican Me Crazy tacos for y’all!

It’s a mesquite smoked jerk chicken taco topped with a cool Jamaican slaw. This jerk seasoning comes directly from Jamaica! It’s a great seasoning paste they use on their BBQ jerk chicken. We just decided to smoke it instead.

Y’all should come try some before your solstice activities!

We’re back! Brady said Chicken Stock was a hit again. He really enjoyed playing with Steve Brown and The Bailers for you guys that got to go!

We’re back to our normal hours until a little break in mid July.

We apologize to you kids that came between 11am and 2pm while our tortilla press was out of commission. We’re sorry you didn’t get our fresh flour tortillas!

But, alas! It is back in working order thanks to our buddy Paul and a phone call or two to the service team in San Antonio! Yay!

All is good in the taco world again.

Remember, y’all. This weekend we’re closed Friday and Saturday for Chicken Stock. No, we won’t be cooking. But you’ll see one of us playing drums for Steve Brown and the Bailers!

Taco friends and fam!

We hope you guys had a great Memorial Day Weekend and enjoyed some time off if you got it.

Thank you for all that gave their lives for our country and have kept us free to live our lives and be able to enjoy our freedom and liberties. Without their sacrifice we couldn’t be serving you like we do. Our hearts are with everyone and their families past and present who gave the ultimate sacrifice.

That’s what Memorial Day is all about.

We love you all.

This week we know we promised you something chicken. BUT!

I didn’t get the chicken ordered in time and, yeah, had to pivot.

So this week’s special after we sell the rest of our smoked sausage tacos will be the Mahalo at ya Later taco!

It’s our Mesquite smoked kalua pork taco topped with pineapple cabbage slaw and our house made espresso BBQ sauce. Real Hawaiian sea salt smoked pork butt.
