This weekend marks 7 years of pizza for us. We won't be at where we first started, but we will be doing pizza! It's been an incredible journey that is constantly evolving for us. I didn't have a plan of what to do after our first event in Audubon, but figured it out. I had my brother Cody first help me there, unsure how anything would go. We did it and it was crazy as I think we did like 70 small pizzas that day, we didn't do slices back then. It was pretty cool doing that with him and also a good friend and forever co-worker Travis come up from Villisca to get it.
Survived 2020, found a way to make frozen pizzas and expand the menu (say hello to The Big Guy!)
Since then we've been to and returned to so many places and met so many people and introduced them to our pizza.
We've went from the old RV that was the best thing to a truck and trailer set up (with real graphics!) with a refrigerated table that I love having.
There's still so much left of the pizza season that we haven't gotten to yet before we are done for the year.
If you've got our pizza or even just told someone about it, thank you. We appreciate everyone that gets it and helps keep the dream going.
Thank you to Neil and Tim for cooking for me, I really couldn't do it without them. Thank you to my family for helping me up front and putting up with this wild dream and going to all of the places with me. To my mom, niece and nephews that have pitched in and helped, to my dad who's helped me with so many things, thank you. I'm very blessed to have family and friends wanting to still do this with me year after year.
Come see us this Friday and Saturday in Anita as we begin Year 8 and see what happens!
