As some of you know. Chef Paul has been working on a side project of his own for the last 12 years rehabbing an old colonial home into a place where he could host occasional shaker style dinners and cooking classes. And no, this doesn't mean he's leaving Vino e Vivo nor does it mean he'll be any less of a force in creating and crafting the Vino e Vivo experience. Our sister restaurant, the Exeter Apothecary, is pleased to announce that our own Chris O’Neill has been nominated for the New Hampshire Restaurant and Lodging Association’s Bartender of the Year Award as part of their Stars of the Industry Awards! Those of you who have came out and supported Chris and the Exeter Apothecary during their first year will know of the steadfast dedication, limitless creativity, and boundless passion for the crafts of bartending and hospitality which have been cultured within the historic walls of this reinvigorated establishment. In his own words, Chris says: "Last year I packed up my stuff and moved back to New Hampshire for the first time since 2001 to open Exeter Apothecary, it’s been an amazing year! Over the course of the last 13 months I’ve been able to meet so many great new people; industry professionals, guests, and made a lot of new friends. We are excited to announce a fun summer celebration being hosted on our patio on Thursday, August 27th. Chefs Paul and Nick will be serving up homemade barbecue alongside James Saunders pouring his New England Barrel Company whiskies and Sam Brunt of Cigar Productions hand-rolling ci**rs. Buffet-style food, ci**rs rolled to order, and pours of some of New England's finest bourbons and ryes to celebrate the zenith of summer!
