Dear Ewing,
We talk about Café 72 all the time, but today we really want to talk about the community around us.
Ewing officially became a township in 1834, and over the years it has grown from farmland and small neighborhoods into the community we know today. Bear Tavern Road has its own place in Revolutionary War history, The College of New Jersey has become such a big part of the area, and generations of families and local businesses have continued to shape what Ewing feels like.
That’s the part we love most.
Ewing isn’t one restaurant, one shop or one neighborhood. It’s the people who keep showing up for each other.
You can see that right around Café 72. Marsilio's Kitchen Kitchen has been serving generations of families. Christin is right next door at Alora Hair Studio. Jessica has built an incredible community at Amplified Fitness. Ewing Nails & Spa recently opened its doors and became one of our newest neighbors. Down Bear Tavern Road, Red Star Pizza _ and Al's Airport Inn are part of the same community we all share.
We see so many of the same faces supporting all of us. Breakfast here, a workout next door, an appointment down the street, pizza with the family, dinner with friends.
That matters.
Local businesses don’t thrive because of one person or one place. They thrive because a community decides they’re worth supporting.
That’s also why we’re so excited about our upcoming collaboration with Al's Airport Inn . From September 6 through September 10, guests at Al’s can call Café 72 between 12 PM and 2:20 PM, order from our menu and have it delivered directly to Al’s for free, with no minimum.
We want to keep doing more of this. Supporting each other, introducing you to the people behind Ewing businesses and reminding everyone how much we have right here in our own community.
