**FYI**
I have been asked to serve noon meals during harvest. I have agreed to give it a try. Things will be a bit different than before. One thing I will only be serving Tuesdays through Friday, and with most of the meals being take-outs I will only have tables set up in one room for the people that have time to sit and eat. If you are willing to bear with me, I plan to start September 15th, still serving from 11:30 to 1:30pm. The price will be $13.00 tax included for a full meal.

Tue. Chicken (White) Spaghetti
Wed. Ham
Thur. BBQ Meatballs
Fri. Roast Beef
Meal includes Tea, Lemonade, Water, dessert and Tax

Hi all,
I just want to "Thank you" for all of your kind words, prayers, gifts, visits and concern for Elaine during and after her brief illness and passing. They have been a real comfort for her family, our whole family and we will miss
her so much. In her quiet way she has touched so many. Thank you again and prayers are still welcome.

Don't know if you all heard, but our "E" in Sunnybrook, dear sister Elaine passed away after a very surprising short, rare cancer illness. She handled it with such grace and courage and always would say she enjoyed the wonderful send off. Her wake will be 7:30 pm Thursday evening August 13th with visitation from 5 to 7:30 before and her funeral Mass will be Friday morning at 10:30 August 14th all at Rural St. John's Catholic Church. We will miss her so much.

**A Reminder** We will be serving our noon Pan Fried Chicken Dinner this next week, Sunday, April 26th, 2026, at rural St. John's Hall from 11:30 to 1:30 pm. If you know you will need Take-outs call Mary Alice at 402-386-5457 on Saturday or call the Hall on Sunday morning at 402-485-2476 after 8:30 am. Thank you and we hope to see you then.
