Located on historic Wilderness Road/US 58 in Ewing, VA, right in the heart of Appalachia. We’re just 1 mile from Wilderness Road State Park, about 9 miles from Cumberland Gap National Historical Park in Middlesboro, KY, and about 25 miles from Jonesville, VA. Look for us around mile marker 6.8 - 7.

Good Saturday morning Central Appalachia. For all you folks who like to sleep in on Saturday and still want breakfast we got you covered. It’s “Breakfast Until 12:30” today at the Whistle Pig Country Store.
And for those of you with a “sweet tooth” June has made a Strawberry Crunch Cake and a Cookies and Cream Cake.

Good evening friends and neighbors. I’m way behind on posting two special families who came to eat with us last week.
Each month the Bailey “Clan” visits and boy do they have a good time and boy do we enjoy having them.
Then on the same day we had some of the Brooks family visiting. Our maternal Grandmother (Granny) was a Brooks. We certainly enjoyed the visit.

Ultimately, these relationships offer unconditional love and long-lasting companionship that enrich every stage of life.”
