It’s with a heavy heart that we let you all know today we lost my grandmother, Nana.
I opened Nanas in April of 1991 at 275 Main St & had always associated good cooking with my grandmother, Nana, so that was what I decided as a name.
Until August of 2018 Nana was a constant presence there. She spent her days not just working ,but investing her life into the people she was around. Both employees & customers alike all got to know how much Nana cared about people. She took the time to listen to and come alongside people, many times complete strangers, and encourage, comfort, laugh with or just talk with. She showed everyone care & she was loved by so many. I always referred to our customers as “Nanas Family” and the was a good reason why- that’s how she saw everyone.

Thank you all for the inquiries about her over the past few years since she stopped working & for the kind comments coming in today at the news of her sudden passing.
