We did it, Everett!
Thanks to your donations, we were able to deliver 120 bags of groceries to Everett Public Schools, serve 20 hot meals at Sisters, and completely restock our little sidewalk pantry.

A huge thank you to Lyn Lauzon from Everett Public Schools - she did some massive heavy lifting creating the infrastructure for us to do this. And thank you to the resource officers who helped make sure everything landed exactly where it was needed.

We are so proud to be in Everett. Community care isn’t just an idea here — you all made it real over this past month 🙂‍↕️🫡❤️

Update from The Sisters ❤️
We’ve officially wrapped up our free meals program in store and are shifting gears to make your generous donations go even further.

We’re partnering with Everett Public Schools to provide boxes of food at several nearby schools with the highest need — helping local families get through this pinch point and reminding them that their neighbors are thinking of them.

With our combined resources we are hoping to make over 200 boxes in the next few weeks. That’s your dollars and your generosity at work! Kudos!

We want to begin by thanking Ida Keeley for inspiring this effort.💛
It truly takes just one generous person to ignite a whole community, and your kindness has done exactly that.
In addition to serving hot meals here at The Sisters, we’re working with Everett Public Schools and getting help from our friends at Brooklyn Bros to work with local food banks to make sure these meals reach the people who need them most. Together, we can do far more than any of us could do alone. 🤝
We’ve been overwhelmed – in the best way – by the outpouring of support and all the messages asking how to help. We’ve set up a Venmo where 100% of donations go straight to covering meals for those in need.
In just two days, donations from two incredibly kind people helped us serve over 15 free meals already with some funds left over for more 🥣✨ The need has been immediate and it has been our honor to be a conduit for the kindness of neighbors to go from feeling to fruition.
We will be matching a portion of the funds and we’re proud to be part of such a caring, connected community here in Everett — truly the best neighborhood in Washington. Thank you for showing up for each other and giving us the chance to be part of it. ❤️

Hey guys, food insecurity is no joke these days and we had a wonderful customer donate $100 dollars to go towards food for people who normally rely on EBT & SNAP. The funds are currently limited and first come first serve. If you are in need of a meal come in & show us your EBT card and we will give you a meal out of those funds!
