Smitty's Italian Steakhouse

Smitty's Italian Steakhouse Smitty’s Italian Steakhouse is located on Franklin Street, near St. Joe Ave on Evansville’s West Side. We represent handmade and farm fresh traditions.

Smitty’s Italian Restaurant and Steakhouse is located on Franklin Street, on Evansville’s West Side and serves authentic Italian cooking in a relaxed atmosphere. From authentic Italian cooking to a relaxed atmosphere, we’re the perfect destination for a dinner date, lunch meeting or an after work bite to eat. We have a focused list of great w**es and offer a full bar specializing in boutique spirits and craft b**r. We welcome all to gather around our tables. Our core belief: great food need not be elaborate or overwrought, but rather fresh, uncomplicated and well executed in order to get out of the way of the ingredients and find the joy in their innate flavors and qualities. In the vein of a traditional Italian osteria as a casual, local gathering place for food, friends and w**e, our menu reflects a less complicated classic grass roots approach to Italian country food inspired by regional ingredients. There are Evansville Italian restaurants… and then there is Smitty’s. Far beyond any Evansville dinner hotspot, we’re a local restaurant which offers something greater for area diners. Our patio presents a refreshingly different option for dining outdoors than the abundance of small, squished patio areas at other establishments. Our carefully composed W**e List is beyond compare. And our lunch and dinner menus are replete with inventive modern Italian flavor. Due to the volume of our weekend parties and dining room, no carryout orders will be accepted after 5:30pm on Fridays & Saturdays.

🥩 🤤 It's a great night to treat yourself to a juicy steak at Smitty's tonight!
