🍔🎉 National Iconic Restaurant Day is Monday, August 24th - AND it’s our 74th anniversary 🎉🍦

Come treat yourself and enjoy a true piece of Evansville history at Zesto’s Riverside! ❤️

The Zesto Story:
Opened in 1952, our Riverside walk-up shop was originally part of the Taylor Freezer Corporation franchise network.

While the national chain eventually dissolved, Evansville’s Zesto locations kept their beloved retro character.

The Riverside location has remained in the Hardesty family for decades, preserving the classic 1950s look, iconic sign, and menu that make Zesto’s so special.

More than 70 years later, we’re still serving up the tradition you know and love! 🍔🍟🧋🍦

Celebrate an iconic Evansville tradition with us and support local❤️

Did you know the story behind Zesto’s famous burger goes back more than 55 years?

Before my dad, Tom Hardesty, purchased Zesto’s, he worked at Farm Boy, where he helped develop the recipe for the delicious burger that would become a Zesto’s tradition. When Tom purchased Zesto’s, Farm Boy continued supplying the burgers to Zesto’s, and that same recipe became a beloved part of our menu.

When the Bonenberger brothers eventually closed Farm Boy , they wanted to make sure the tradition could continue. They passed the original burger recipe along to Dewig’s Meats in Haubstadt, who now makes and supplies our burgers using that same recipe. ❤️

So when you bite into a Zesto’s burger today, you’re tasting a piece of Evansville history—a recipe that has been enjoyed for more than 55 years!

From Farm Boy, and now from Dewig Meats… the tradition continues! 🍔❤️
