We are officially out of our building, and the Lovegood’s chapter has closed. 🫶🏼
Many people have asked me over the last few days, “What’s next?” and it honestly makes me laugh.
I laugh because there is no next right now, and that feels exactly right.
When we opened the coffee shop, we didn’t put our life on hold. In our first year of owning Lovegood’s, Logan doubled his business. In our second year, we welcomed our second daughter. And when we came to the decision to close our doors, it was because we were already stepping into the next phase of our lives, one that no longer allowed the coffee shop to be a part of it.
For now, I’m focusing on my real estate career, finally getting the opportunity to be fully present with my kids, and putting a few European trips on the calendar to visit family. ✨
I’m forever grateful for the knowledge and experience Lovegood’s gave me. I like to joke that I learned more running this business than I ever did earning my marketing degree. But my biggest takeaway is this: this was never a failure. I gained more than I could have ever imagined.
Lastly, thank you to everyone who supported us, our family, friends, employees, and customers. It is because of all of you that I know I succeeded in my dream that was Lovegood’s. I appreciate you more than you know. 💕
