Hartigan's Ice Cream Shoppe "Ice Cream is one of life's simple pleasures!" Terry Hartigan We have been the local ice cream shoppe on Central Street in Evanston for over 40 years.

We serve delicious ice cream but more importantly we are a family united together to bring each person who walks through our doors a pleasurable and happy experience. We are also known for a delicious assortment of ice cream cakes for all occasions!

It's been an amazing 46 years of family, friends,& customers who are like family and a love for ice cream.
46 years ago we began as a Baskin Robbins and at 11:00 am on August 6th 1996 we began a new and exciting journey as Hartigan's Ice Cream Shoppe.
Ron Miller was our first customer that day with his 2 sons, Paul Miller and Jeff Miller and Terry's mother, Noreen. It was Noreen's birthday too. I have had incredible employees through the years that I love so much. Julius, my manager for many years, and many others have made Hartigan's a wonderful place.
Thank you to everyone and all the great customers who love and support us every day!!!

Our first president, George Washington loved ice cream. In the summer of 1790 he ate ice cream every day and spent over $200.00. That's $5000.00 dollars in today's money. George Washington would love to see all our flavors now. 🍨
