Congratulations to Austin Roberts, our Master Roaster, on being our October 2026 Employee of the Month!

Austin has been part of Jitter Bean since he was 13 years old, and he has been our lead roaster for over 20 years. His commitment to his craft is something pretty special. He is incredibly meticulous, conscientious, creative, and thoughtful in everything he does - and coffee roasting is certainly no exception.

Especially over this past year Austin has poured an extraordinary amount of time and energy into improving our coffee blends, refining our labeling, sourcing and purchasing green coffee, and strengthening every part of our wholesale and retail coffee program. He has an amazing palate and a genuine passion for the art and science of roasting.

Austin also happens to be one of the kindest people you will ever meet. He cares deeply about doing things well, about the people around him, and about producing coffee that he is truly proud to put the Jitter Bean name on.
We’re pretty careful about giving our own kids too much attention around here, but this recognition is very well deserved.

Congratulations, Austin, and thank you for everything you continue to bring to Jitter Bean!
