My name is Kyall Widmier, my wife Autumn & I are the owner operators. We have a passion for craft beer & good food (especially wood-fired pizza from a brick oven). This has been a dream for years now & its finally coming true. Over a year ago me and 2 friends set out to open a craft taphouse featuring local, locally distributed & regional craft beer, cider, & draft soda. Unfortunately that adventure never took flight. Autumn & I never let the dream go & in January of 2018 we found the location at 421 3rd St Eureka, Ca in the historic Ritz building. We were able to work with the building owners & get them to separate the kitchen allowing us the brick oven only. This brick oven & the 2000 square-foot dining room on the opera alley side of the building gave us the opportunity to make our dream come true & start The Madrone Brick Fire Pizza & Taphouse. I have 6 years plus of food service & management experience. As well as 4 years in the beer industry.
Our goal is to bring the community a family friendly atmosphere with great pizza, draft beer, cider & soda. We will have 20 taps of delicious draft goodness. Our pizza menu is centered around build your own pies with a list of toppings, but there’s always the house favorites to choose from. We will also have 2 tvs silently playing sports & plenty of board games.
My dad & I built a custom bar, all the main bar-stools, & 8 hand crafted madrone tables. What an amazing life moment it has been.
It’s been a great experience taking on this new adventure & We can’t wait to share it with you. Thank you to all the amazing friends and family that have helped make this happen & have been there with us through it all. Especially Alex Stecher we couldn’t have done it without you.
