Amber's Kitchen Simple homemade meals, treats and baked goods from my kitchen to your families table. Ever since then I love being in the kitchen.

I never knew that food was a passion of mine until I became a stay at home mom almost seven years ago. For me it is a way to express to my family and friends that I love and care about them. The foods, baked goods, treats I make are simple homemade foods. For me, they bring back memories of being at my grandma's house for Sunday night dinners. I put my heart in my cooking and it shows. I hope to share that feeling with you!

Summer break!

I used springform pans instead of cake pans. Yes, she’s a little lopsided because I tried shaving the top off one layer but messed up.

One cake is a chocolate fudge while the other is devil food cake with sour cream added. I did an espresso simple syrup that I brushed both cakes with to help bring out the chocolate flavor. There is a chocolate ganache middle and whipped chocolate buttercream.
