To everyone that helped us get the space ready. To the staff. To my partner, Ashley. To our friends and families that provided moral and emotional support. Our veganism is not single-issue. We believe in collective and shared liberation. We don’t believe in mask, armed, unidentified people asking people for their papers, sometimes not asking, and disappearing them, or shooting them, without due process. We are also a place to gather, but there’s no point if we can’t be guaranteed our personal basic human rights and freedoms. Please come back and support us doubly on Saturday. We love and appreciate you all.

If you feel inclined, you can venmo (at)bozant and I will distribute tips to the employees who missed work. 100% of tips go to the baristas. Just leave a note that it’s for ice out or baristas.
