Michael, on the right, came in the door one day looking for a job; still in highschool and no restaurant experience. We fell in love with him right away and hired him on as someone that would fill in the blanks, depending on what was needed that night during dinner service, but mostly bussing. Chef Josh, left, would always give him a ride home after work and among their discussions was the idea of Michael learning to cook as a trade! Since then, Michael comes to the cabin most days after school, and all weekend days, to work with Josh and Mark, and is an integral part of of our kitchen line, picking up more cooking chops each day and impressing us with his young ambition and positive attitude. We can’t imagine our Gaskins family without him;-)
