Thank you to everyone who shared my post about the stolen Papa's Soul Food sign. I am so happy to say that it has been returned! Yay!! I appreciate you all, and am so grateful for all of your messages of support and concern. Thankfully it is finally back where it belongs.

To all of our incredible customers and friends:

As a proud Owner of Papa's Soul Food Kitchen, I am truly thankful and grateful for the opportunity to be a part of the community of Eugene. From the beginning, the restaurant has been welcomed with open arms and has been shown an extravagant amount of love and support. We have been blessed to be able to feed the mouths of people from all over the world as well as locally over the last 15 years. I hope a piece of Papa's Soul Food Kitchen stays with everyone forever and the taste is always remembered in your hearts.

This coming Saturday, November 4, 2017, will be our last day. I invite you all to come down and say hi, have a drink and enjoy some Soul Kitchen.

Thank you to everyone who has been a support and thank you to everyone who has been a part of this great business. It breaks my heart to say goodbye, and I wish you all the best.

So come on down. We will be serving up your favorites until the end.

After 15 years of business, Papa's Soul Food Kitchen and BBQ will be closing soon. It has been an honor and a privilege to continue Papa's dream for the past eight years. Having the support of my incredible staff, the community, and customers after Papa passed away is what made the Soul Kitchen thrive.

I thank all of you who have made Papa's your go-to spot over the years. I have been blessed to have this place for people to come and listen to music, enjoy some great soul food and drinks, or chill in the back yard while a band is playing on the stage. It has always been a very special place to be.

As I take this next step in my life, I want to thank you all for the years of support and kindness you've shown to me. I will forever be grateful for the Soul Kitchen and for you.

So come down and enjoy some soul food and BBQ. We will be open for a while longer to let you all get your grub on.
