Lower McKenzie Salmon-Safe micro ipa is a light refreshing summer beer that celebrates the clean McKenzie River water that is its essence. Even though it is low alcohol, the floor malted Oregon Promise barley is substantial enough to contribute a golden honey flavor and smooth pleasant mouthfeel. The uniquely bright McKenzie hop is complex for a single hop beer with notes of green melon, subtle stonefruit, and a snappy bite for a crisp finish.

Dear Vanora Lovers,

Due to the changing landscape of agriculture and malteries, Vanora Amber Lager can no longer be brewed.

The Vanora grain is no longer being grown and malted. This malted grain gave Vanora Amber Lager all of its delicious malt flavors.

Drop by and get one last pint. Celebrate the amazing time we all got to spend with this beer before it slips away into antiquity.

Come celebrate with The Wheel + Admiral Malting as we showcase what makes beer possible- malted grain.

Kim from Admiral Malting will be on hand to sample the floor malted grains they produce in the Bay Area, and Toby, the brewer at The Wheel, will be pouring samples of beers brewed with those same grains. We have two new beers to release as well as a standard favorite, all brewed with 💯Admiral Malt.

Light, crisp, with a fulfilling body, this lager has plenty of rice flavor thanks to a traditional brewing method utilizing this special Organic Heirloom Rice grown by Kida Farms in California.
