Cooked Puer Tasting: Saturday, July 18th

We just received a shipment of several aged cooked puers, and we’re doing a guided tasting this Saturday from 11 AM to 12:30 PM. We‘ll explore five cooked puers—and depending on the mood, we might finish with a raw puer or oolong.

Cracked into this aged Puer today—1989, provenance a bit of a mystery, but the tea doesn’t lie. Starts sweet, shifts sour on the finish. That’s the signature of a raw puer that’s been sitting right. Just dropped it to $35/oz on the site—been holding out for the right moment.
