We have news ! The Sandwich League will be closing our campus location on June 15th. But we want you all to know that this is really good news for our family ! As some of you know, we are a family run business, and our family is ready for some change and growth. The universe made this transition make sense because our lease is up, our crew/family/close friends wanted
to move to Portland (and experience not working for mom 😂), and Rich and I are realizing a dream of ours to move to the coast! We met in Wi******er Bay, we got married in Wi******er Bay, and now we are opening a restaurant in Wi******er Bay ! We are beyond excited!
Needless to say the last 10 years have been the most amazing experience for us ! From being on Diners Drive-in’s and Dives in our second year of business(!!!), to making it big in our eyes, and going brick and mortar! It’s been a wild ride. We had the blessing of working with our kids and family, and we made beautiful friendships and lifelong connections. We are so thankful for the community around us ! We truly feel part of something wonderful. It is definitely bittersweet to make this move. But in our hearts we know that this is gonna be great !
With the help of great friends, we found a gem of a restaurant in the harbor of Wi******er Bay and we are opening The Wi******er Bay Public House ! We will serve part of The Sandwich League menu. We will expand on grilled cheeses and burgers and introduce fish tacos! We will also have a bar and pinball and arcade games. We are so proud and excited about this new chapter of our lives. We could not have done this without the help of unbelievable investors who we are lucky to also call friends.
Rich is still playing in all of his music projects, so don’t worry Candy Apple Bleu fans! RJ isn’t going anywhere! And hopefully someday when we can, we will bring The Sandwich League back to Eugene.
We do want to thank our hardworking and loyal crew for years of awesomeness! And we want to thank everyone who loved us and and our food! Our hearts are full !
