Hello everybody, it looks like I'll be facing an entire summer of recovery from hip surgery. Knowing this, I am accepting a food management position offered to me by a company that runs several of the local UO fraternities. After a lot of sleepless nights I have decided it's what's best for me physically. Working by yourself in the kitchen is difficult enough for a young man, let alone an old guy like me.😄 At any rate, it will be fun to have a young team to work with and be a bigger part of the Duck family. Quack!

Aloha everybody! Murphy's law warning. It appears as though I will have to postpone my start date for guest cooking at drop bear Brewery. I just got the word from Slocum orthopedics today that I need a new hip. I didn't really see this coming, but probably should have. I have been through this before so I know what to expect. I'm very happy I was able to get a surgery date so quickly. June 18th with Dr. Shah. 3 months recovery and I should be back as good as new. Thanks for hanging in there with me.🤙

Aloha everybody! Ron’s will be closed this Saturday the 12th for an employee appreciation party. We figured what better time than Espn Gameday. Aloha Ducks! Welcome back! Thanks for making today’s lunchtime a memorable one. It gets tougher and tougher to break records after more than 25 years, but today was one of those days! Busiest lunch ever! My (wrecking crew) handled it like it was just a regular lunch! I worked the front counter and I can tell you all of the food looked amazing! Today was definitely all about the #12 Pineapple Express and the #6 Mona Loa chicken.🤙
