Big news! Next week we will start laying down the concrete for the patio for the thrift shop and coffee shop where we will someday serve Pitsky Brew.

We will be opening Husky Halfway House thrift shop up on the highway where we will build the USA BMX track, Pitsky BMX.

I have been building this thing that will sustain rescue, one piece at a time through sponsorships, coffee and treat sales and of course, credit cards. The end goal is a USA BMX track surrounded by services that will lead back to the rescue.

So, do me a huge favor and grab my book and coffee bundle. All the proceeds will go to the infrastructure and build out of the thrift shop, coffee shop and track.

Cameo Anderson did the artwork and I did the story telling. The coffee is amazing. No tummy aches. 🤩. And look how cute Phoenix is as a BMX rider.

Rocco didn't exactly make rescue easy.
We found him surviving on his own in the Chickasaw National Forest, and it took us an entire week of patience, persistence, traps, cameras and probably more than a few choice words before we finally convinced this wolfdog that maybe the humans weren't going away.
That rescue gave Rocco something the forest couldn't: a home, a pack and people who loved him exactly as he was.
We recently lost Rocco to cancer, but losing him doesn't erase the years between the day we found him and the day we had to say goodbye. Those are the years that matter. He was safe. He was loved. He belonged.
