Receiving 141 of the 605 votes, Pegah’s Kitchen has won the “Best Breakfast” category in the Escondido Chamber of Commerce’s annual “Best of Escondido” awards! We would like to thank all of our wonderful customers who voted for us!

We would like to let our customers know that our Escondido location will be closed tomorrow (Sunday, August 1st) for a planned closure. However, our San Marcos and Vista locations will be open as usual!

The Escondido location is closed for only Sunday and will be re-opening Monday under regular hours going forward— 6am-2:30pm daily. Thank you for your understanding!

Pegah’s Kitchen in Escondido is looking to hire a host/hostess to join our amazing team!

HOURS:
5 days a week-- Wednesday through Sunday from 7:30am-3:00pm.

PAY:
Starting pay will be $15-$16 depending on experience, plus you will earn tips on carry out orders.

JOB DUTIES:
-Greet and seat customers as they come in
-Maintain and manage a waiting list
-Answer phone calls
-Use cash register and credit card machine
-Take to go orders via telephone and tablet apps (ie grub hub, doordash, etc.)
-Accurately pack and keep track of all take out orders
-Properly sort and adjust credit card slips
-Properly sort server tickets

QUALIFICATIONS:
-At least one year of restaurant/hospitality experience
-Experience in a breakfast restaurant strongly preferred
-Ability to work at a very fast pace
-Ability to multitask
-Ability to maintain a clean work space
