Catered our first taco Thursday Escalon Youth Center and of course I took care of my Miss Escalon court! It was so much fun and I’m excited to be there during lunch to serve the high schoolers!

🌮💙💛 THIS is what it’s all about. 💛💙🌮

When I was blessed with the opportunity to receive a Business Expansion Grant from the City of Escalon to help make the Tacos de Nieve concession trailer a reality, I knew I wanted this truck to be about more than just growing my business.

I wanted to be able to give back to the community that has supported me and Tacos de Nieve for the last 12 years.

So this Wednesday, we’re doing exactly that. ❤️

Our El Portal 6th graders are SO CLOSE to reaching their Science Camp fundraising goal! Even after all of their fundraising, our families will still have a portion they have to contribute, and I know that extra expense can be difficult.

Tacos de Nieve will be donating 100% OF THE PROCEEDS from Wednesday’s event directly back to El Portal Middle School for 6th Grade Science Camp. 🌲🔬🏕️

Not a percentage. ALL proceeds.

To me, this is one of the biggest reasons I was blessed with this truck. The City invested in my small business, this community has continued to support me, and now I have another way to turn around and put that blessing right back into our community and our kids. ❤️

So Wednesday night, don’t cook! Come grab dinner from us and help these kids get even closer to their goal!

Today was a busy day and this was about the only picture I got! Today was Brianne Cerasi first time serving out of the truck today! It was just me and her and we served about 120 people today! From a first birthday to a family reunion. Now all my parties I cater I am always appreciative of the business, meeting new people, and seeing repeat customers. Tonight I catered a family reunion for the Widmer family. Normally after I cater we pack up and leave but they were all sharing stories of their grandparents. As we were cleaning and packing up we could hear them laugh, make jokes, swear that each one was grandmas “favorite, and some of the stories turned to tears. Watching them all together and listening to their stories is why I am absolutely the luckiest taco lady to share moments like that. It was in escalon so there were so many familiar faces from events that I have catered, rehearsal dinners, bachelor parties ( cough, cough Brandon Collins) and countless other events. As we left Brianne and I got in the truck and realized that someone had made us 2 to go plates of homemade desserts. Thank you guys for always choosing me as your taco lady 🫶🏼
