Funny how small business life changes over the years 😂🌭➡️🍋

At one point our weekends looked like giant festivals, sausage smoke everywhere, chaos, long lines, and trying to survive on caffeine and pure determination 😅

These days life looks a little different. My hubby, The Hungarian Sausage King, has officially retired!! 🙌 Holden is running events with me now, and somehow we traded sausages for gourmet lemonade, dirty sodas, and pink trailer dreams 😂🍋

And now I’m getting ready to head to Alaska this week while Holden holds things down at Little Mania ❤️

Definitely not where we imagined life would take us back in the Hungarian Sausage King days…

But honestly?
It’s been pretty special watching the journey evolve over the years

BREAKING NEWS 😂🌭🍋

Somewhere along the way Hungarian Sausage King turned into a lemonade company and honestly… we’re still trying to process it ourselves 😅

One minute we were hauling grills and sausage to festivals…
now we’re arguing over strawberry vs mixed berry lemonade and buying entirely too much fruit 😂

If you had told us years ago we’d end up running a pink lemonade stand called Southern Belle & Son, we probably wouldn’t have believed you 🤣

But here we are ❤️

And honestly? We’d love for some of our old Hungarian Sausage King family to come follow along on the Southern Belle & Son journey too 🍋✨

It’s been a minute y’all.

Some of y’all followed us back in the Hungarian Sausage King days… food truck festivals, long lines, crazy weekends, and Holden and the kids growing up right beside us!

Life changed.
Business changed.
But one thing didn’t…

We still love serving people and being part of this community ❤️

These days we’ve traded sausages for handcrafted gourmet lemonades 🍋✨

And honestly?
A lot of y’all have no idea what we’ve been up to.

So this week we thought it might be fun to reconnect, share some memories, and show y’all what Hungarian Sausage has evolved into- Southern Belle & Son Gourmet Beverages🍋🍓

We’ve got a BIG weekend ahead around here 😅

Friday evening I’ll be doing Erwin drop offs at Food Lion 6:30-7pm

Saturday we’ll be back home in Flag Pond for the Ramp Festival…11am-2pm only in front of Rices Store

and then Sunday is Mother’s Day 💐

Tomorrow we’ll officially start prepping and making all the fresh gallons for the weekend, so TONIGHT will be my final call for pre-orders 👀🍋 If you need a gallon or half gallon, let me know on here or message me!

I will have limited half gallon extras for the Ramp festival but that will be it! Maybe 2Oish or so… can’t promise!

Thank y’all so much for all the support, messages, shares, and orders this week and always! It truly means the world to our little family business for yall to help us out while waiting on our beverage trailer to be finished up💛

It’s the LAST DAY of the
🌳 Old Oak Festival
at Tusculum University
and y’all… they gave us 75 degrees and lemonade weather. 😎

Today feels like a Classic Gourmet Lemonade kind of day…

Cold. Fresh. Ice clinking. Lemon slices floating.
The kind you sip slow while strolling the festival. 🍋

Some folks think festival vendors pull up to Old Oak with a cute little lemonade pitcher and a smile. 😂

Honey, it’s 100
pounds of sugar, enough lemons to start a grove, berries by the pound, cups and jugs stacked to the ceiling, coolers full of ice, and a Suburban praying all the way to Greeneville.

This is what getting ready for Old Oak Festival really looks like.

We don’t just bring lemonade… we bring the kitchen sink! 😂😂🍋

And yes… Mixed Berry and Strawberry are both coming back to defend their titles.
