It's official. Goodie Patrol is going to participate in our first BBQ competition! I want to thank Brad DeMeritt for sponsoring our entry fees. This event will be in Erie on July 20th during the old soldiers and sailors reunion.

Over the course of the next couple of weeks I've got to learn how to showcase my life-long study of world inspired flavors in a competition style package. In a world where appearance of the meat is critical I have a lot to learn. I'll be posting pictures of my final results open for constructive criticism.

The first flavor that I'm going to run through the gauntlet is my Pacific Island Chicken. Here are 8 pieces in a bath of coconut rum, yummy.
