Due to a little craziness last night and a sudden illness we will be closed all day today. I sincerely apologize for the inconvenience. Sometimes s**t just keeps happening until it has run its course.

I feel like we’ve bean here before.

Made a new batch of Miracle beans for the weekend along with some spicy cucumber salad. There’s a car show this evening as well as a ballgame so it will again be a Miracle if you get to eat them. There might be plenty left on Saturday depending on how determined my bean folks are.

In other news, I found an infinite parking glitch. All you have to do is drive a fork truck and you can park all week for free.

The new grandchildren are home and doing fine. That is all for now.

We are SO back!

Here is a picture of the Miracle Beans I made before we took a couple of days off. I personally love beans of any kind as some of you know. These are pintos, stewed with garlic, ginger, onion, doenjjang and gochujjang. They are a perfect side dish with rice when you order fried chicken, chicken on a stick, tacos or just by themselves.

Why are they called Miracle Beans you may ask? Because with the parking for Celebrate Erie, it'll be a Miracle if you get to try them! Come see us this weekend. We're behind the main stage.
