The show will go on. As planned

We are set up and ready to go at Germanfest starting tomorrow. You may have heard there is limited parking due to the storms.

This is true. However there is still a few hundred spots available. Should you arrive at a time where parking is unavailable the casino is right up the road. We have arranged to use their lots.

We have also secured 2 busses running about every 10 minutes. There is unlimited parking at the casino and the shuttle location will be very clearly marked.

The weather is supposed to be great...finally.

We hope the shuttle won't deter you from joining us. Ray did a wonderful job making sure it will be a seamless. Smooth and fast operation.

WE'RE HIRING a few people to help in a food booth at Erie's Germanfest next weekend.

The DATES are September 5th and 6th. Saturday and Sunday.

HOURS -10am-6pm Saturday
-1045-7pm Sunday

The festival is at St. Nicks Grove in Erie

We will also need a few people ongoingly for the rest of our season into November. Most events are local but we will travel a few times for events in the surrounding area.

The position is easy. I just need a few people to work the counter putting together food orders. Sandwiches. Gyros. Fries. Etc.

The pay is 15 Dollars per hour in cash plus tips. Paid Sunday night when you leave.

OUR FIRST ERIE EVENT OF 2026
Duran Down Home Days-This weekend
June 6th and 7th

It's finally summer in Erie, PA

We are looking forward to seeing you. We know it was a long rough winter and everybody's feeling the rising cost of life. To thank you for over 20 years of service we commit to not raising prices at hometown events. There's other ways to cut cost.

We can't wait to see you all and btw. We spruced up our stands this year with tons of new tents and equipment.

Hope to see ya this weekend in Waterford.
