🌍 Years ago, we made this once. One day. Most people never even knew it existed.

Then my daughter Brittany said , "Mom, bring it back."

Saturday at West Bayfront Porchfest, the African Chicken Stew made its return.

It was gone in one hour.

And the requests have not stopped since.

So here's what's happening: this week the African Chicken Stew is joining the Big Bad Meal lineup and I need you to hear me when I say get your order in early.

West Africa meets East Africa in one bowl. Peanut butter. Coconut milk. Sweet potato. Collard greens. Black eyed peas. Chicken so tender it has absolutely no business being that good.

Where else are you finding this in Erie? I'll give you a moment. 😏

We're taking care of business behind the scenes so we can come back even better for you. The GREAT news? This week's menu was so good, we're bringing it back — same beautiful lineup, same Chef Lisa magic. Café reopens Tuesday August 25th at 8:30am, and Big Bad Meals are back Tuesday August 25th, available for pick-up Tuesday through Thursday, 11am to 4pm. Dinner Is Served has officially been awarded the Diverse Erie Mini-Grant!! 🎉💛

This is an incredible opportunity for our business and the community we serve. This funding will help us expand our prepared meal programs, grow our “Big Bad Meals,” and increase access to convenient, chef-prepared meals throughout Erie.
