We’re Back & Ready to Fire Things Up!

First and foremost, thank you all for your incredible support. Our crew enjoyed a much-needed, refreshing break, and we’re excited to be back serving you this weekend!

Like many throughout our community, we were impacted by the severe July 4th storms. Unfortunately, they caused some unexpected setbacks with the major electrical upgrades we had planned during our closure.

We’re open our normal hours today and tomorrow, but we do have a few temporary menu changes this weekend:�❌ No Smash Burgers ❌ No Smoked Turkey
❌ No Ribs

The good news? We expect to be back to full speed next week and firing on all cylinders!

We truly appreciate your patience, understanding, and continued support of our small business. It means more to us than you know.

Just a reminder that 272 BBQ will be closed Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday this week so our crew can enjoy some well-deserved time off while we complete some major electrical upgrades to better serve you.

We’re incredibly grateful for your patience and continued support as we keep investing in improvements for our restaurant and our community.

We also hope everyone affected by this week’s storms has their power back soon. We know it’s been a tough week for so many of our neighbors.

🚨 ONE HOUR LEFT! 🚨

You all have been amazing today!!!!! thank you so much for helping us clear out before we close until next Saturday for our big electrical upgrade project!!

We are officially SOLD OUT of pulled pork, mac & cheese, jalapeño sausage, ribs, and Texas toast.

We still have some great stuff left, including brisket, turkey, chicken, cowboy beans, coleslaw, and more — and all sandwiches can be made on a brioche bun until we run out of them too!

One more hour to rally. Come help us finish strong!

We’re open today 11 AM–5 PM, and it’s your last chance to grab some 272 before we take a short break for our major electrical upgrades.

We’ll be closed after today and reopen next SATURDAY, so if you’ve been thinking about stopping in for some brisket, pulled pork, chicken, turkey, sausage, or your favorite sides… today’s the day!!

Help us send everything home instead of back into the cooler. We’d much rather see it on your table!

We’ll be open Saturday & Sunday from 11:00 AM–5:00 PM this weekend.

After that, we’ll be closed Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday of next week to give our crew some well-deserved time to rest and to complete some major electrical upgrades that will help us continue serving you even better. We’ll reopen on Saturday.

We never imagined a simple decision to protect our team during this week’s extreme heat would receive so much attention.

We’re grateful to FOX43 for sharing our story, but even more grateful for the incredible support, encouragement, and understanding we’ve received from all of you.

At 272 BBQ, we’ve always believed that great barbecue starts with great people. Our team works incredibly hard every day, and taking care of them isn’t something special….it’s simply the right thing to do.

Thank you to everyone who has stopped in, shared our posts, sent kind messages, and supported us this week. We truly have the best customers and community we could ask for.

A quick 272 BBQ update for this week’s heat wave…

As many of you know, our building wasn’t originally built to be a restaurant—it was an office building that we’ve worked incredibly hard to transform into 272 BBQ. Most days, we make it work just fine.

But when temperatures climb into the upper 90s with heat indexes over 100°, our kitchen becomes a different story.

For the safety of our crew, we’ve made the decision to temporarily pause fries, tots, and wings for the week’s heat wave. Those items create the most additional heat in the kitchen, and taking them off the menu allows us to keep our team safer while still serving the barbecue you came for.

We’ll still be serving all of your smoked favorites, sandwiches, brisket, pulled pork, ribs, and more.

We know this may be disappointing to some, and we truly appreciate your understanding. Our employees work incredibly hard every day, and their health and safety have to come first.

Thank you for supporting a small local business that believes taking care of its people is just as important as taking care of its customers. We can’t wait to bring the fries, tots, and wings back as soon as this heat breaks.
