The original Coffee Pot was established in Brookhaven, MS in 1930 by Mr. Carruth (The previous owner's paternal grandparents) as a result of their vision to serve good food in a timely manner and at reasonable prices. It stayed in business through three generations of the Carruth family. The Coffee Pot Cafรฉ went under new ownership in November 2018 and stayed within the Coffee Pot's family until J
uly 2023. Once under new ownership, it was renamed The French Quarter at Enterprise. New amazing owners, but the same Coffee Pot's familiar faces and menu. Lin Carruthโs revision of The Coffee Pot Cafรฉ was a result of her creative passion and talents in the three main loves of her life (after, of course, God and family): art, antiques, and good food with Louisiana flair. Franksville, LA and is the fifth of eight children delivered by a black midwife in West Feliciana parish. The midwife also taught Linโs mother to cook and many of the dishes served here are a result of her teachings. Unfortunately, we cannot offer 1930โs prices, but our goal is to offer good food in a timely manner at reasonable costs. The daily specials may change due to experimenting NEW menu items, or bringing something greater to the table. There will always be homemade desserts and main dishes like Gumbo, Etouffee, Red Beans & Rice, homemade chicken salad, poโboys, The Driftwood (our own hamburger creation served on a poโboy bun) and grilled cheese made with old-fashioned hoop cheese.
