Good morning Ennis… Just an update. Although I had a buyer ready to come in and take over Kalena‘s and continue what I’ve started… She was excited to add specialty coffees and be open year-round… My landlord has decided that she wants to go a different direction and lease the building to somebody who is not interested in continuing what I’ve started. I now have until the end of the month to liquidate my assets and exit the building. I am devastated and my heart is broken that I have to close down and I can’t serve you all anymore but this is news that is almost too hard to handle.
The money that I would’ve gotten for my business, would’ve allowed me to carry on serving the community of a small fishing village  in Costa Rica. My dream was a reality, and I was preparing for a new chapter, excited to share my journey, and couldn’t wait to invite you all to come visit. However, the landlord cannot be convinced to change her mind. Now,unfortunately, I will only receive a small fraction of what I’ve worked so hard to build over the last six years. Everything must go.
So I am asking for your help. Today I will start the process of selling off my assets and I am asking for donations to help me recoup some of what I am losing. I hate asking for help like this. I feel embarrassed and a bit ashamed. But if you can find it in your heart to lend a hand, you know I will be forever grateful and of course, the invitation will always be open for you to come visit in Manzanillo, Costa Rica. 
I will start posting today, some of the big equipment that I have for sale. However, I will be in and out of the shop every day for the next couple of weeks, so if you’d like to stop in and see what other things I have for sale, it’ll be great to see you. Thank you so much, Ennis, for all of your love and support. This is truly been the greatest years of my life and I’m just so sorry that I can’t keep it going. My heart is aching.
