Friday, Saturday and Sunday there will be a multi family yard sale in back of Kalena’s. My friend Teri will have lots of beautiful antiques, I am finally clearing out my storage and some friends will be dropping off some interesting items to sell😊. Come check it out! 7am start… who knows when it’ll end! 🎉

Oh my goodness you guys… Dino-Mow Lawn Care came by yesterday and did some work in the back of the shop and wow… They did such a great job! Professional, yet such a sweet family. Grateful for the knowledge they shared and super reasonably priced. I am definitely recommending this sweet family for your lawn care needs.  I suggest you call them soon as I see them getting booked up pretty quickly. 406-920-1767

Good morning Ennis! So I’m sure you’ve all heard that I’m closing down the sandwich shop. 🥺😔However, the ice cream shop I can do by myself 😊😊and I will be there from
2 PM till 9 PM every day but Wednesday.
I will continue to sell my cookies and iced tea, loose tea, hot tea, probably pickles because I know how much y’all love those big pickles! 
Trying to stay positive.. I know I have to just keep moving forward.
I’m starting to come to terms with this new reality every day, but I’ll tell you my heart is absolutely broken because you all have truly been the greatest part of my life‘s journey and I’m just really gonna miss you all so much. Now I figure out what the next chapter looks like…in the meantime you can still come get Ice Cream and Tea and stuff. It will always be great to see you. 💙♥️💙♥️

Hello Ennis! Sorry I’ve been out of touch. I had to take some time to figure out my next move. I’ve decided to keep the ice cream shop open with coffee and tea and snacks, etc. but I have to let go of the sandwich shop. I just don’t have the amount of help that I need to continue with the service that I expect from myself and for you. My physical and mental health are being affected, and I just don’t want to put myself through trying to run Kalenas by myself. I will keep you in the loop as to what I’m doing. Next week, I will reopen the ice cream shop. Love you all. I wish it didn’t have to be like this, but I really don’t have a choice.

Good morning Ennis! Some of you may have noticed a definite shift in the Energy around town and in my shop. I want to take a moment to sincerely apologize if you have come into my shop when it was hectic and you didn’t receive the normal smiles, good energy and service that you’re used to. I am struggling with some things, but I am working to get it back to how it’s always been. Thank you for understanding and I’m sorry if you were on that tail end of anything uncomfortable. You know that’s not how I roll. Today is a new day and I hope to create many smiles and happy customers. 
I’m going to do a Turkey Reuben today for a special. I think they call that a Rachel. Lol
Sunflower bread, turkey, Swiss cheese, coleslaw and thousand Island dressing hot on the Panini press. Add an iced tea or lemonade and let’s call it $16.

Good evening, Ennis! Just a little update… Monday and Wednesday, the sandwich shop will be closed this week. Ice Cream is open seven days a week from 2-9 PM. 
Still looking for some help. If you can work at a fast pace with good energy and want to make some good money this summer, 
Please come by and talk to me if you are interested. 😊Before 11 AM or after 2 PM is ideal as we are incredibly busy for lunch.

Gooood Morrrning Ennis!
Looks like it’s gonna be a beautiful day! Come on in to Kalena‘s for a BBQ pulled pork sandwich with coleslaw and pickles for $15. I’ll brew up some nice Tropicana iced tea, some raspberry black iced tea and of course freshly baked cookies and your favorite lemonade is always on tap! Ice Cream will be open from 2 o’clock to 9 o’clock this evening. 😋

Good morning Ennis! The holiday weekend is upon us! Happy 250th year, United States!
Today will be menu as usual. July 4th, tomorrow, we will be serving up giant subs, pulled pork sandwiches, premade kids sandwiches, and of COURSE cookies, pickles, and chips. I’ll have water, Gatorade and Lacroix on ice and if all goes well… Ice Cream will be open. There was a big hiccup with my ice cream order… praying for a miracle! 
Other than that… Have a beautiful and safe weekend and don’t forget to swing by Kalena‘s to say hi! Good luck to all the business owners… We got this!
Oh, and one more thing… I need a couple more good helpers for the summer. My team is coming together nicely, but I’m still short. So please be patient with us while we are just two of us today and we will do the best we can. Please and thank you!

Good morning Ennis! So I’m usually closed on Wednesdays but it is too nice of a day to be closed. I’ll be open from 11 to 3 today. Stan is going to be setting up some music on my patio… So blessed to have him! Come down and have lunch. Throw a lawn chair in the truck  just in case the seats are filled.😁💙
