We have some news to share with you.
With full hearts and so much gratitude, we announce that we are closing at the end of September. Our last day of regular service will be Monday, September 28 with our September Western Sky Book Coven Monthly Read discussion.
Stay tuned for info about our final weekend because you will not want to miss it.
We want you to know that we are not leaving out of necessity or dire financial circumstances. This has never been easy, but this isn’t a business failure. We were two people who got a crazy opportunity at a time when the world was piecing itself back together at the end of a pandemic. Like so many, we were looking for meaning and purpose. We found it in Western Sky.
We said from the beginning that if we were going to do this, we wouldn’t half-ass it. Now, we’re closing this chapter of our lives on our terms to rest, reset, and live at a slower pace.
We are so incredibly grateful for the time you’ve spent with us over the last five years. You have made this more than just a place to get a beer.
This has become a true community hub, a welcoming and safe environment for people to gather and form connections and friendships, a place for creative people to perform or showcase their talents.
None of this would have been possible without all of you continuing to show up for us and for each other.
We hope to see as many of you as possible before we lock our doors for the final time.
In true Western Sky fashion, our calendar is packed for our last month. Please come enjoy a drink, see a show, play trivia, and help us celebrate the last five years.
This isn’t the end of the Western Sky story, as there will be a reopening under new ownership.
In the meantime, let’s take some final opportunities to make some memories together. Thank you for the ride.
With love,
Whitney, Harrison, and the whole Western Sky Crew
