WE HAVE SOME EXCITING NEWS! 🥹🏳️‍🌈❤️

We are incredibly proud to announce that D’s Cozy Kitchen & The Seasoned Rican have been selected to receive a Community Award from Garden State Equality at their Equality in Motion event on October 4th!

We will both will be accepting the award and speaking at the event on behalf of both brands.

Our relationship with Garden State Equality has become incredibly special to us over the years. We’ve had the opportunity to cater some of their largest and most important events, and they have continuously supported our businesses and the two women behind them.

But for us, this relationship goes far beyond catering.

As an LGBTQ+, women-owned business, supporting an organization that advocates for, protects, and uplifts the LGBTQ+ community throughout New Jersey is deeply personal to us.

And this year, we wanted to do even more.

Equality in Motion is one of Garden State Equality’s largest annual fundraisers, so we officially created our own fundraising team:

🏳️‍🌈 Two Chefs. One Mission. COOKING UP EQUALITY 👩‍🍳👩‍🍳

We’re asking our clients, followers, fellow business owners, friends, family, and community to help us raise as much as we can!

No donation is too small. Even $5 makes a difference. Every contribution adds up and directly supports an organization doing incredibly important work for the LGBTQ+ community.

And we would LOVE to have you come celebrate with us!

🌎❤️ Today officially kicks off Hispanic Heritage Month!

At D’s Cozy Kitchen, one of the things we’re most proud of is how diverse our kitchen truly is. Food gives us the opportunity to celebrate so many different cultures, and Latin cuisine has always been a big part of what we do.

From Puerto Rican, Dominican, Cuban, Mexican, and other Latin-inspired dishes and flavors, we love being able to create menus that represent the people, families, and communities we serve.

And of course, our Puerto Rican roots have an extra special place in our company through our sister brand, The Seasoned Rican, which was created specifically to celebrate and share Puerto Rican food and culture. 🇵🇷

Throughout Hispanic Heritage Month, both of our brands will be busy catering corporate celebrations, colleges, festivals, community events, and private gatherings throughout the Tri-State area. We’re grateful every time someone chooses us to bring a piece of their culture to the table.

Hispanic Heritage Month is about celebrating the incredible diversity within the Hispanic and Latino community. Different countries. Different traditions. Different flavors. Different stories. ❤️
