It is with deep sadness that we share the passing of Edward Blair Shaw on May 4, 2026, at the age of 82.
Ed was more than the founder of Our Country Hearts; he was a devoted father, grandfather, friend, and mentor. From his early days growing up in rural Pennsylvania to his years at IBM and ultimately building Our Country Hearts into what it is today. He believed in small business, in treating employees like family, and in creating a place where people felt welcome.

Many of you knew Ed through the restaurant, the furniture store, or simply through conversations shared over the years. His impact on this community, and on the people who knew him, will never be forgotten.
We ask that you keep Jason, Emily, baby Copper, and the entire Shaw family in your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.

Visiting hours will be held on Tuesday, May 26, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Allen Memorial Home.
