Traci's Shaved Ice-Emporia

08/24/2026

SUNDAY August 30th CLOSING!! We will remain open 4p-8:30p while supplies last.

💗 28 YEARS OF MEMORIES… AND NOW IT’S TIME TO SAY GOODBYE. ( kind of)💗

After 28 incredible years, we have made the very difficult decision to close the Traci’s Shaved Ice – Emporia (physical) location.

It’s hard to put 28 years into words. I never grew up thinking….I want to be a business owner or make shaved ice for the rest of my life, lol. This is in fact what happened and here we are now, closing this chapter.

I was just a college kid who saw the possibilities and was given the opportunity at the time! What started as a business became so much more. It became a place where families came year after year, where kids grew up enjoying their favorite flavors, where friendships were made, and where countless summer memories were created. 🍧❤️

We have watched little kids come for their first shaved ice and then return years later with kids of their own. (Yes, that does make us feel old) We’ve celebrated birthdays, school events, community events, hot summer days, and all the little moments in between.

Emporia, you have truly been a part of our story.

To every customer who stopped by, every family who made us part of their summer tradition, every employee who helped serve up thousands of cups of shaved ice (I wish I could tag every single one them), and every person who supported us over these 28 years…

THANK YOU. 🩷🥰

Thank you for the laughs.
Thank you for the friendships.
Thank you for the memories.
Thank you for choosing Traci’s.
And most of all, thank you for allowing us to be a small part of your lives for nearly THREE decades.

🍧 28 years. Countless cups. Thousands of smiles. One incredible chapter. 🍧

While this chapter in Emporia is coming to an end, Traci’s Shaved Ice isn’t completely
disappearing. We are incredibly grateful for the opportunity to continue serving our customers at local/private events and creating even more memories.

If you’ve loved Traci’s over the years, we hope you’ll continue following along with us. ❤️

Emporia, thank you for 28 amazing years at this location!!
We will forever be grateful. 🩷🍧

With love,
Traci’s Shaved Ice
