Do you remember the original South Mountain Cycles cafe across the street? 🚲☕️
That’s where I first fell in love with local coffee. Heather and Chad were the ones who taught me what a real Italian macchiato should taste like. I haven't been back to a Starbucks since!
Today, Cafe 23 (located in the current bike shop at 318 Main St) is carrying that torch of quality forward. The new renovation is incredibly cozy—think "modern lodge" with a fireplace and plenty of space to relax after a ride or school drop-off. 🏠
The shop has maintained a high standard for its menu, ensuring everything is organic-focused and cooked without seed oils. Because they prioritize these high-end ingredients, you’ll find the pricing is on the pricier side of the local spectrum, but it’s a difference you can truly taste.
